1. Scope
These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Zenvale app and associated website. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description
Zenvale is a mobile application for iOS and Android that provides soothing nature sounds and sleep sounds for relaxation and better sleep quality.
2.1 Free Features
- Basic collection of nature sounds
- Timer functions (5, 10, 30 minutes)
- Simple playlist creation
- Background playback
2.2 Premium Features
- Extended sound library
- Unlimited playlists
- Advanced audio mixing
- Exclusive premium sounds
3. Usage Rights and Restrictions
3.1 Granted Rights
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3.2 Restrictions
You are prohibited from:
- Copying, modifying or decompiling the app
- Using or redistributing app content commercially
- Using the app for illegal purposes
- Circumventing technical protection measures
4. Premium Subscription

4.3 Auto-Renewal - Apple Compliance
🍎 Apple App Store Subscription Terms
Your subscriptions are subject to the following Apple terms:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- The cost of renewal will be the same as the original subscription price
4.4 Automatic Renewal
Important: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration through App Store settings.
4.5 Cancellation Policy
📱 How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
- Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Select your Zenvale subscription
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period
4.6 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the respective App Store settings (iOS or Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4.7 Free Trial
🆓 Trial Version Terms
New users receive a free trial period for Premium features:
- Free trial periods, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- You must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends to avoid charges
- After the trial period, the selected subscription will automatically activate at regular prices
5. Availability and Updates
We strive for high app availability but cannot guarantee 100% availability. Maintenance work will be announced in advance when possible.
App updates may add new features or change existing functions. Important changes are communicated in release notes.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All app content, including audio files, graphics, text and code, is copyrighted and owned by Zenvale or our licensors.
6.1 Audio Content
The sounds and music contained in the app are licensed for personal use within the app. Separate extraction or use outside the app is not permitted.
7. Privacy
Protecting your privacy is important to us. Details about data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer
8.1 App Usage
The app serves relaxation and improving sleep quality. It does not replace medical treatment for sleep disorders or other health problems.
Medical Note: For persistent sleep problems, please consult a doctor. The app is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosing or treating diseases.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits, as legally permissible.
9. Right of Withdrawal
For purchases through app stores, the withdrawal policies of the respective platform apply:
- iOS: Apple App Store refund policies
- Android: Google Play Store refund policies
Generally, you have 14 days to withdraw from premium purchases, provided you have not yet used the content.
9.1 Apple Refund Policies
🍎 Refunds for Subscriptions
Refunds for Premium subscriptions are subject to Apple policies:
- Refund requests must be made directly to Apple
- Apple Support decides on refund requests at their discretion
- Contact Apple Support for billing questions and refunds
- Zenvale has no access to Apple payment data or refund processes
10. Termination and Blocking
We reserve the right to block or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms of Service or misuse the app.
11. Changes to Terms of Service
We may change these Terms of Service at any time. We will inform you of significant changes by email (newsletter subscribers) or through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Final Provisions
12.1 Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding UN sales law.
12.2 Jurisdiction
The jurisdiction for all disputes is [Your jurisdiction], Germany.
12.3 Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these Terms of Service be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

13.3 Subscription Processing by Apple

All subscription transactions are processed by Apple:
- Apple processes all payments for Premium subscriptions
- For subscription billing questions, contact Apple Support
- Zenvale does not receive payment information from Apple
